It was a pleasure to work with The Kentish Rifleman on their recent photoshoot! This charming pub is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family.
Born in about 1552, this charming and traditional Old English Pub is hidden away in the Kentish countryside, between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. The low, oak-beamed ceilings and open fireplaces set the scene for a cosy visit.

The food at The Kentish Rifleman is simply remarkable. The chefs are truly talented, and every dish they create is not only delicious but a work of art. I was able to capture the beauty of the food, showcasing the vibrant colours, textures, and presentation in my photos. Every plate was a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

In addition to the food, the staff at The Kentish Rifleman are also amazing. Their friendly and welcoming nature shines through in every shot, and it was clear to see their passion for what they do. Whether they were behind the bar, in the kitchen, serving food, or simply chatting with customers, the staff embody the spirit of this wonderful establishment.
The atmosphere in the pub is relaxed and inviting; it really does have that ‘traditional English pub’ feel about it and the history is fascinating (when you go, ask about the ghosts and Witches’ marks on the fireplace!). Whether you’re looking for an intimate dinner for two or an evening out with close friends, The Kentish Rifleman is sure to please.
My photos

In addition to photographing the food, I also booked a meal and I can personally say that the food and service both score a 10/10! I had the Belly Pork followed by the Chocolate Tart (see the photos below) and my Mum had the Tandoori Chicken Pie, I tried some of Mum’s and it was amazing. The Kentish Rifleman is now officially my favourite local pub!

The Kentish Rifleman is truly a hidden gem, so if you’re in search of an amazing meal and a great night out – look no further!
