I always get
Great question to those of you who have asked it before…
I first fell in love with photography because it was a form of escapism from a really emotionally rough stage of my life, I was going through my very first heartbreak and locked myself in the darkroom to develop my photos and I honestly think it helped me. I have always used photography as a form of
I love the fact that with one single image, you can tell a story or even leave viewers wondering about the meaning behind a photo.
I adore how as a photographer, you enable people to keep precious moments forever and the look on clients faces when they see their images for the first time is wonderful, especially if the photograph is of them and I see them feeling extra beautiful.
I also think it’s absolutely amazing how photography can transform people’s businesses, I often have clients saying to me “I have a Facebook page where I sell__________, and I usually take all of my photographs on my mobile, I think it’s time to have some professional images taken”, before they have the professional photos taken of their products, their business may have been doing well anyway but after they had professional photographs taken, their business definitely goes into a different league, if you have professional product photos on your website or social media pages, you instantly look more like a professional business.
Did you know that people remember 80% of what they
The better your images look, the more items you will sell…fact!
These are just a few reasons why I chose photography, but I think this is the main one, Photography has the power to change the world.
Yes. I did just make that statement.
Today, people communicate by photos more than anything else! Self-portraits, News photography, Documentary, Events and so much more…and because of social media, everyone around the world can see those photos instantly. Photographs transcend language barriers and can be consumed wherever in the world they’re viewed. With photography, you have the power to spark debate, unite people and show people something life-changing. The right image seen by the right person can hugely positive effects. Think about it for a second, we have all seen the photographs of all of the plastic in the ocean, right? And that photo has changed the way so many people live (and rightly so!), without photography people wouldn’t be able to see the truth of what is really happening out there.
Without photography, history would be just an intangible memory.
