Good evening everyone!
Right now, I am sitting having a lovely cup of
Here are a few things that I have never told you…11 things in fact, because it’s the 11th day of Blogtober!
1: I absolutely adore cooking!
Cooking for me is like
I have also made a few…quite rude cakes for birthdays and hen parties. They won’t be posted on here just in case any youngsters come across this page, but I have heard they look quite good! So if photography fails… I have a backup business plan…cakes in the shape of a penis.
My favourite savoury dish to cook is curry! Yummy!
2: I am a huge clutz…
If you know me well, you will already know this, but it’s not something I generally write on business posts!
I fall over all the time and constantly bang my head, explains a lot right?…
About 3 weeks before I did the Walk The Walk Moonwalk Marathon in London, I broke 3 of my toes by walking into my kitchen door…nope the door hadn’t moved, it has been in the same place for the entire 14 years I have lived in the house, and I managed to walk into it and break 3 toes.
I went to the races with my best friend Rosie and when walking to the minibus, I fell over in the carpark in fine fashion; I fell over and hit my knee on a stone got back up attempted to walk it off…and fell straight back over again hitting the same knee on the same stone, this was in front of absolutely everyone that came with us, my knee was in a pretty bad way, but I didn’t mind, I went out dancing afterwards anyway and got told off the following day for not having stitches.
3: I used to do street dance. Yup…me…dancing.
In secondary school I was always really interested in dance, I never did well in dance at school because I was always so embarrassed, but street dance…I loved it! I went to the Medway School of Dance in Tonbridge and I got my silver medal and then left because at the time I thought going out and meeting boys with my friends was
I would actually love to start doing a dance class again, I’m quite into my fitness and it would be a fun way to tone up!
4: I have amazing memory…sometimes.
You know those friends who always know the exact date something happened, and who are constantly reminding you of
The second we are told we need to remember something, it’s gone from our memory. It just goes to show that things worth remembering always come around when you least expect it!
5: I eat super fast.
Whenever I go out to eat with family or friends, I have to slow down otherwise I’ll finish my meal in just a few minutes. I think it was teaching that trained me to do that…you have such little time to eat on your breaks that you end up stuffing the food down your neck before you have even tasted it! I’ve slowed down a little bit since then but it’s still gone within a matter of minutes.
6: I don’t have a Dad.
Ok, obviously I do, or I wouldn’t be here, I know. But, my mum is a single parent, and a bloody amazing one at that, my dad didn’t want anything to do with me after I was born (sad but it happens) so my mum had to do the role of both parents, she’s like a superhero! I honestly have the worlds most amazing Mum. She’s the best friend a girl could ask for. So, if you’re reading this Mum, thank you for being so wonderful. 💕
7: I have a phobia of wasps.
I don’t mean a tiny fear, a real phobia, I absolutely HATE them to the extent of literally crying if they land on me. The only time I have ever felt brave enough to get close to one is when I have taken a photo of one in the past, I definitely don’t think I could do that now! My phobia gets worse as I get older. I am also super allergic to them!
8: I have done a skydive!
It was one of the most amazing experiences ever and I would love to do it again!
The video of my skydive was absolutely hilarious, I spent the entire time licking my lips and there is one particular part when the videographer did a slow-mo on me licking my lips, as you can imagine when falling at 120mph a slow-mo of me licking my lips was certainly not attractive haha, I had super dry lips and the air was obviously making them extra dry when I was free-falling through the sky…next time I do it, I shall remember to put Vaseline on them before.
9: I love climbing mountains.
That’s definitely something I would like to do more of!
10: I am left handed.
Yeah. That one is a boring one, but hey, it’s still a random fact about me that you didn’t know!
11: I suffer with insomnia.
This has always been the case with me! I have tried lots of different things, I love a Sleepytime Tea to help relax me, but it doesn’t actually help me sleep!
Hence why most of these blogs are written super late at night! But whenever I am writing them, I am usually sitting in my room, in my dressing gown all cosy, with my essential oils candle burning. So writing my blogs has given me a new way to relax! 🙂
Thank you all so much for reading this blog, I hope you feel you know me extra well now you know all of those super random facts! I’d love to know more about all of you.
Feel free to post in the comments with your own quirks 🙂
